Australian General Practice Network (AGPN) is the new name of the Australian Divisions of General Practice (ADGP) which was established in 1998 as the peak national body representing 119 divisions of general practice and their state-based organisations across Australia. We are the largest voice for general practice in Australia with over 95 per cent of Australia's GPs members of their local division. The Network delivers local heath solutions through general practice.

The primary function of the Association is to maintain standards of orthopaedic surgery within Australia. The Association conducts a quality assurance programme, offers regular continuing orthopaedic education meetings for its members and provides a training programme for orthopaedic trainees to become specialists in orthopaedics on behalf of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

| AUSTRALIAN RHEUMATOLOGY ASSOCIATION (ARA)
The ARA supports and educates members and other practitioners in the musculoskeletal field to enable provision of up-to-date, best possible management for patients with a wide range of rheumatic problems. A rheumatologist can provide expert advice about many different types of joint, muscle and bone complaints including inflammatory joint conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and lupus, degenerative conditions such as knee and hip osteoarthritis, disorders of bone such as osteoporosis, as well as back and neck problems. The ARA promotes excellence in the diagnosis and management of these musculoskeletal and inflammatory joint conditions through training, professional development, research, and advocacy.
